I immediately bought it and and so glad I finally have this dress. The retro style and the way it fits has made this one of my absolute favorite dresses to wear. I love the adorable little purple and green bug details in the fabric design and the accented purple belt that comes with it. The way it makes me feel so original when I wear it makes it even better. I even bought a handbag to go with it because what Beetlejuice fan can wear this and not have a Handbook for the Recently Deceased purse to go with it? I'm 5' 4" and the dress is more mid-shin on me but I'm ok with the length because it looks great with my Lacey Capri leggings. I love the I treat people show when they realize the theme to this outfit. Love love love it! Thanks Torrid for such great throwback themes in your amazing clothing

It was so flattering and cute and I have been waiting for Torrid to come out with one like it. PLEASE!!!! We would buy it!!

I sized down and was glad I did as there is plenty of room in the bust area. Dress is lined so you don't need to a wear a slip. Pattern is subtle - looks like stripes until you are close up.

I'm a small D, I think bustier gals will get gaps in the front buttons. Love the fullness of the skirt and that it has a full built in slip. Waist hits higher than mine which helps hide my tummy. Material is a nice cotton with a tiny bit of stretch, heavier than a quilters cotton. Print also has tiny bits of purple and lime on the beetles. More of this style please!

Through trial and error in sizing with other prints, I decided to size down and glad I did. This may not work for others (size down) since we are not shaped the same, but it worked for me. It feels custom made. For size reference I ordered 10. My measurements are 42" bust and 35" waist. The fabric is cotton poplin. It's not too stiff but will retain its shape. Fully liner so no slip is necessary. It's perfect if you want to add crinoline or leave alone - still full enough in skirt area. POCKETS! It's got pockets! Large pockets. Enough to stuff my iPhone 11 and snacks. Don't miss out on it, you'll regret it. It's comfortable and even for me being 5'0", I love the length! Goes well with my Munster Deee shoes! Sandworm print is perfect! Not too in your face but big enough to know it's Beetlejuice themed. Love it!!

Unfortunately the belt did not fit but nothing that a little 2 notches to add won't fix. After that the belt actually fit. The belt on the dress for me didn't sit at my wait it was actually across my ribs witch I don't mind because it does make the dress cute and doesn't cut my body into weird proportions.

I would have rated a 5 star but it does run small. I normally wear a 16 or 1/2 and 44DD bust but I had the feeling that this fabric will shrink after washing and I did not want it to be tight in the chest. I got a size 18 and it is still a little bit tight in the chest and arms but it is wearable. I love the print. The belt is also very tight, I could only get it to go to the first hole. I can always replace the belt, it's not a big deal. But I was excited and surprised with the deep pockets, they are awesome! The length is nice and goes down mid calf.

I had to have this dress, but was hesitant based on some of the early reviews regarding fit. I decided to buy it a size larger than my usual. The pattern is fantastic and I really wish I didn't have to return it, but unfortunately the way the waistline is cut didn't hit right on me. I am 350+ lbs, 5'6" and have a broad apple shape with a 48H bra size. I normally wear a 5 in Torrid dresses to accommodate my bust. Most dresses that have an elastic or an otherwise defined waistline, tend to rest right under my bust, as in an empire waist, which generally works just fine for me. This dress, I ordered a 6 and the seam for the waistline went right across the middle of my bosom, which as you could imagine made for a very awkward and unflattering fit. It seemed to be made well. The belt was fine as well, the purple color matched the photos. I'm really bummed that this didn't work out for me, but hopefully some other lovelies will pop up that I can wear comfortably.
